You are invited to visit our shop, set in an old chapel, where you will find quality used furniture and decorative items, a large, varied stock, which changes regularly.
The A645 Trading Post is situated on Wakefield Road in Featherstone, near Pontefract in West Yorkshire, the postcode is WF7 5HL.

Established for over 25 years, we have been trading from our present premises for the past 10 years. As a family run business, we have many regular customers who return week in and week out, not only to see our new stock, but often just for a chat, many have become friends over the years. Browse at your leisure, without obligation, (we have no pushy sales people here!), but if you do need assistance, there is always someone only too pleased to help you. Our stock, which is constantly changing, is very varied, comprising of a few hundred pieces of furniture and many hundreds of smaller items including:- pottery and porcelain, glass, copper and brass, books, fabrics, collectables and much, much more.. We usually have a selection of stock from some of the major furniture manufacturers available, including:- Ercol, Old Charm, Bevan and Funnell, Jay-cee etc., etc., some hand stripped and waxed, others in their original finish.

At present our stock includes:- blanket boxes, chests of drawers, wardrobes, dining tables and chairs, sideboards, occasional tables, stools, upholstered furniture, plant stands, bedside cupboards, desks, travelling trunks, dressing tables, display cabinets, bookcases, dressers, painted furniture, stripped and waxed furniture, fire surrounds, various pieces of new timber, clocks, cutlery, dinnerware, tea ware, hundreds of pictures, glass light shades, lamps, baskets, new pine and beech cupboard or drawer knobs, fabric, tools, toys, books etc., etc. In fact, whatever your requirements, we may be able to help, so please visit us often.

Please take a look at the photographs below to get some idea of the type of items we sell, but please be aware that as turnover is usually quite quick, some of the items shown may have already been sold. Good quality furniture is sought by us, if you think you have anything that may be of interest to us please email us here.
